What does "On Hold" mean?

If you see an orange "On Hold" badge, that means an issue is preventing your meter from progressing further.

Electricity meters with an orange "On Hold" badge cannot progress beyond their current status until a particular issue is resolved.

Typical reasons for meters being placed "On hold" include:

  • Missing city permits

  • Issues with site access

  • Inspection turndowns (red flags).

In each case we'll send you an in-app message plus email explaining the reason for the Hold, and whether you need to take any action (or not).

What does an "On Hold" badge look like?

"On Hold" badges appear in your connections list, and also on meter info panels inside the connection detail page:

OK, so what happens next?

Once the issue is resolved, we'll remove the "On Hold" badge and let you know immediately via in-app message and email.
