Why did you request a Permanent meter when I only asked for Temporary?

We pre-request a Perm ESI-ID in advance to avoid delays later on.

When you request a Temporary meter, we also request a Permanent ESI-ID so it's ready to go when you need the Perm meter connected in the future. We've found this quite handy as it avoids delays.

The Permanent meter will stop at the purple "ESI-ID issued" status tag and not progress any further until you click the green "Request service" button.
