When you request a new connection, we give you the option to supply contact details for the Home Owner. If you provide this information upfront, we'll contact them 6 weeks before your estimated closing date to help them transfer the electricity account.
This ensures that:
The account is transferred before the Home Owner moves in
You have one less thing to worry about
You're not paying for the power any longer than necessary
