Improved tracking of scheduled and energized dates

Meter panels now show some additional key dates to help you track their progress at a glance:

  • Scheduled meters now show a scheduled install date as soon as we receive this information. This often happens at the same time your account number is issued - but it can occur later in the process:

  • Energized meters now show an Energized date so you can see how long power has been flowing for. Note there is sometimes a delay before ERCOT reports this information to us - we're working on improving this system further:

  • Finally - when you request a Temporary meter, there is now a small notice on the Permanent meter panel explaining that we automatically request the Perm ESI-ID in advance to avoid delays later on, but the perm meter will not progress further til you request service:
